Morgans was established in 2005 as an electrical contracting business.  In September 2010 we achieved MCS accreditation for the installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and in May 2011 the new trading division, Morgans Solar was born. With recent changes in the Feed-in Tariff it is more important than ever to make sure that your Solar PV system is properly designed for maximum output to give you the best return on investment.  Morgans Solar uses PVSOL software to design a system that is right for you and your property …no off-the–shelf packages.

Quality solar PV systems for domestic and commercial buildings

Quality is a key focus for Morgans Solar so we only use products that meet our strict criteria.  The Solar panels we install are generally Canadian, Panasonic, Rene Solar and Seraphim solar panels.

Solar panel and inverter warranty

The minimum product warranty for panels is 10 years with a 25 year performance guarantee. Our chosen inverters are usually manufactured by SMA who provide a 5-year warranty. The solar mounting system we prefer to use is Schletter for its quality and versatility and this comes with a 10-year durability warranty. In addition, we offer a 10 year insurance backed warranty.

Solar PV monitoring systems

Morgans Solar also offer Solar panel monitoring systems to help our customers get the most out of their Solar PV system.  These are either proprietary desktop devices e.g. SMA Sunny View Device or standalone monitoring devices that monitor electricity being used and/or generated e.g. Geo Solo PV.  These devices help you to manage how you use the free electricity you are generating for maximum gain.
